David Homewood graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1981. David began his radiology training at the Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Children’s Hospital, all in Brisbane, before heading overseas where he completed his training as the Senior Radiology Registrar at the Royal Infirmary and Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, in 1989.

David returned to Australia as a Consultant Radiologist at the Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital in 1990, and later that year joined South Coast Radiology. He has held Visiting Medical Officer positions with the Gold Coast and Tweed District Hospitals.

David’s subspecialty interest areas include musculoskeletal imaging and neuroradiology. He maintains membership of the Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group, the Australian Society of Ultrasound and Medicine and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology.
