The people at South Coast Radiology are what make us a leading radiology provider.

South Coast Radiology consists of many different departments, all working together in unison to deliver smooth daily operations. The radiologists interpreting your medical images and the technical staff performing examinations hold appropriate qualifications and registration and uphold continuing professional education to meet and exceed minimum Australian standards.

The bookings and clerical staff ensure the smooth daily operation of our sites, and work closely with the administration and management teams who implement business strategies to provide unparalleled patient care.

Our Leadership Team

The Leadership Team at South Coast Radiology is accountable for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and administration of the business, people, providing support and assistance to the technical and clerical teams at each of the clinics.

Warren Berry commenced in February 2017 as General Manager of South Coast Radiology.

Warren has extensive experience in managing Medical Imaging and Specialist Medical Services.

Warren is responsible for sustaining business financial performance and corporate compliance. His work ensures that the community served diligently over the last 50 years by South Coast Radiology continues to have access to the latest technology and clinical expertise whilst maintaining high quality, customer focused and efficient diagnostic imaging services.

Aaron Wilkinson commenced in March 2021 as the Operations Manager of South Coast Radiology.

Aaron has a strong commercial background in both radiology and the broader healthcare industry.

Aaron is responsible for operational efficiency, project management and stakeholder engagement, and provides operational leadership to the Senior Management Team. His contributions have proven invaluable time and time again as South Coast Radiology continues to increase access to the highest quality radiology services across the Gold and Tweed Coast, Mackay and Darling Downs regions for our patients and referrers.

Jessica Moore joined South Coast Radiology in March 2014 as a clerical rover before being offered a full-time role at our Pindara Hospital site as a receptionist.

Following 12 months in that position, Jessica was appointed Clerical in Charge at our Palm Beach location before being promoted to Business Support Services Manager 3 years later.

Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role as Administration Services Manager, following a stellar career within the company that has seen her learn from the ground up. She is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of the administrative department systems which deliver and maintain successful operations across SCR’s contact centre and front-of-house clerical departments.

High-quality service is at the forefront of Jessica’s business model, where she actively implements and delivers a training program to all the people in the administrative section across the entire business that focuses on delivering the highest quality customer service to our valued patients and referrers.

Accreditations and Memberships

At South Coast Radiology, all our clinical staff belong to professional bodies and associations.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology – RANZCR

In Australia, doctors who want to become radiologists study through the fellowship-based organisation the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR), which provides world-standard education, training and assessment programs in radiology. The College sets, promotes and continuously improves the standards of training and practice in radiology for the people across Australia and New Zealand.

Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia – MRPBA

All radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists working at South Coast Radiology are registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia – one of ten national boards that form the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, which works to protect the public and guide health professionals.

Under the National Law, health professionals must meet nationally consistent registration standards and hold recognised qualifications, in order to work in Australia. Each profession upholds at least five mandatory standards that ensure staff maintain continuing professional development, have no criminal history, meet English language requirements, hold professional indemnity insurance and have adequate, recent work experience.

Australian Institute of Radiography – AIR

As the peak body representing radiographers, the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) promotes, encourages and maintains best practice and proficiency for medical radiation science in Australia.

The AIR organises education events, scientific and political discussion and consultation for its members. Undergraduate radiography course providers must meet AIR minimum standards of competency in practice. The AIR encourages provides opportunities for their people through continuing professional development through education.

Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry– ASAR

Australian Sonographers Association – ASA

Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine – ASUM

All sonographers working at South Coast Radiology are Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accredited sonographers or student sonographers, who have met the minimum requirements for admission.

Many of our sonographers belong to either the Australian Sonographers Association (ASA) or the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM). As professional members, staff are kept informed about issues affecting ultrasound imaging and have access to advanced education events, research, case studies and discussion forums.
