Bruce Jack graduated from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand in 1983 and completed his radiology training at Auckland Hospital and Waikato Hospital, Hamilton (1987–1992).

Bruce moved to Australia to join South Coast Radiology in 1993 and became a partner in 1994. He has held Visiting Medical Officer positions at the Gold Coast and Tweed District Hospitals. His subspecialty interest areas include all aspects of radiology, especially MRI and echocardiography.

A sports enthusiast, Bruce enjoys a range of outdoor activities including mountain biking and running. He has completed the Gold Coast Marathon several times and enjoys all types of motorsports.
