Welcome to South Coast Radiology, South East Queensland’s imaging experts since 1967. For over 50 strong years, health care professionals and the surrounding communities have relied on South Coast Radiology to provide state of the art medical imaging services and the highest level of patient care.

As a division of Integral Diagnostics, South Coast Radiology employs many of Australia’s top tier radiologists and nuclear medicine specialists in a unique medical leadership model that ensures quality patient care, service and access.

Since 1967, South Coast Radiology has evolved to become the largest radiology group on the Gold Coast. It is also, one of the largest and longstanding radiology organisations in South East Queensland. Our 16 convenient imaging locations across the Tweed and Gold Coast also include two hospital based sites at John Flynn and Pindara Private Hospitals. Additionally, two regional locations in Toowoomba at Darling Downs Radiology and Mackay at Mackay Radiology, and The Women’s Imaging Centre Southport.

Our longevity is a testament of our commitment to continually improve patient access, provide exceptional patient care, and offer a comprehensive range of services and state-of-the-art technology ensuring we remain at the forefront of medical imaging.

Over 30 Radiologists of South Coast Radiology continue to develop their knowledge and expertise through a well supported professional development programme. They regularly attend Australian and International Radiology Conferences and mini-fellowships to ensure they continue to offer the latest technologies and proficiencies to their patients.

Our History

Since 1967 when radiologist Dr David Jones opened his first practice at 125 Nerang Street, Southport, South Coast Radiology has provided exceptional medical imaging services to the Gold and Tweed Coast regions. South Coast Radiology also operates The Women’s Imaging Centre in Southport, and regional medical imaging services for doctors and patients in Toowoomba at Darling Downs Radiology and Mackay at Mackay Radiology.

South Coast Radiology is pleased to announce the opening of a new imaging practice in Pimpama, April 2023. For over 50 years, South Coast Radiology has serviced the Gold Coast community by providing expert and compassionate medical imaging for patients. Now expanding into the northern Gold Coast suburbs, the new Pimpama site will offer a comprehensive range of services including MRI, CT and Nuclear Medicine, same day appointments, acceptance of all referrals, free easy access parking and prompt report turnaround times.
