Johan Weilbach (Fritz) graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of the Orange Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa, in 1985. He lives in Mackay and is our radiologist at the Mackay Radiology practice.

Fritz trained in radiology at the University of the Free State and at Universitas, National and Pelonomi Hospitals, Bloemfontein (1991–1995). He has worked as a diagnostic radiologist in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

Fritz has a keen interest in all facets of radiology, with subspecialty interests in MRI, CT, ultrasound and image-guided intervention. His special medical interests are sports medicine, orthopaedics and oncology.

Fritz enjoys watching sport in general and all codes of football but his favourite, by far, is rugby union.
