EOSedge™ is a full-body scan taken while you’re standing or sitting naturally, just like you would in everyday life. This gives your doctor, physio, chiropractor or specialist a much clearer picture of how your spine, hips, and legs actually line up when your body is doing what it normally does: holding you upright
Why This Matters for You
Many posture and alignment issues simply don’t show up the same way when you’re lying down. By capturing images of your whole body in its natural, weight-bearing position, EOSedge™ helps your care team see the full picture, not just a snapshot.
It also takes front and side images at the same time, in one scan, which means:
- Less time in the imaging room
- A more complete view of your spine, pelvis and legs together
- Up to 5× lower radiation than a standard X-ray, on average, reassuring if you need repeat scans over time, especially for kids
- Highly accurate measurements, so treatment plans can be based on precise information, not estimates
