A Pelvic MRI provides comprehensive imaging of the reproductive and urinary organs, bowel, and surrounding structures.

It’s frequently used for gynaecological, urological, and oncological assessments.

Safety Notes

MRI is safe and radiation-free. Tell us if you have implants, metal fragments, are pregnant or have claustrophobia.

Your doctor may order this scan to investigate pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, or to assess reproductive and urinary organs.

Fast for 4 hours before your appointment and empty your bladder before the scan unless advised otherwise.

You’ll lie on the MRI table while detailed images of your pelvis are captured. Some cases require a contrast injection. The scan takes about 30–45 minutes.

No, but you may experience mild pressure from the table padding. The scan is completely painless.

MRI is generally safe in pregnancy, especially after the first trimester. Please inform staff when booking.

Your referring doctor will receive a report within 24–48 hours.

About Your Test
