Dr Geraldine Walsh


Geraldine Walsh  graduated from University College Cork School of Medicine,National University of Ireland in 1988.  She undertook General Medical and Pediatric training in Ireland, Iraq and in the UK between 1988 and 1992 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians

(Ireland) in 1991.   She did her Radiology training in the UK at Plymouth (1992-1995) and at Cambridge (1995-1997) and then came to Adelaide South Australia as an MRI Fellow in 1997.

Geraldine worked at the Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane in 1999 and with Queensland X-Ray from 2000-2002. She worked as a Consultant Radiologist in Reading, UK from 2003 to 2014 and joined SCR in November 2014.

She has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists since 1995 and of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists since 2000.

She has subspecialist interests in Chest, Cardiac and Musculoskeletal imaging.  In her spare time Geraldine enjoys reading, cooking, travel and photography.
