Robert is a graduate of the University of Queensland (1984) and worked as a General Practitioner (1987-1988) before returning to the Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital to complete his radiology training (1989-1994).

Robert completed a Fellowship in Musculo-skeletal and Neuroradiology (MRI focus) at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre , Omaha , Nebraska , USA over an 18 month period between 1994 and 1996. He returned to Australia to join South Coast Radiology in 1996, becoming a Partner in 1998. He has also held VMO positions at the Gold Coast and Tweed District Hospitals .

Robert's subspecialty interest area covers all aspects of MRI.

Robert is a regular contributor and presenter for Professional Education, benefiting CME seminars, Qld Branch meetings of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Griffith University , University of Queensland , In-House Technical

Staff and local branches of the Australian Institute of Radiography.

Once a keen sailor and soccer player, Robert now devotes his leisure time to his wife and four children.
