David is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg , South Africa (1987) and completed his radiology training at the Witwatersrand and Johannesburg group of teaching hospitals (1990-1993).

David worked as a Consultant Radiologist at the Johannesburg Hospital (1994) before moving to New Zealand where he was a Specialist Radiologist at Gisborne Hospital (1994-1998). David completed a Fellowship in MRI at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, University of Toronto , Canada (1998) before returning to settle in Australia where he joined South Coast Radiology in 1999.

David's subspecialty interests include MRI of the Central Nervous System, Whole Body and musculoskeletal system.

David is married with a young son and daughter and enjoys spending most of his free time with his family.
