David is a graduate of the University of Queensland (1981). He began his radiology training at the Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital, Princess Alexander Hospital and Mater Children's Hospital before heading overseas where it was completed as the Senior Radiology Registrar at the Royal Infirmary and Western General Hospital in Edinburgh in 1989.

David returned to Australia as a Consultant Radiologist at the Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital before joining South Coast Radiology in 1990. He has also held VMO positions with the Gold Coast and Tweed District Hospitals .

David`s subspecialty interests include Musculoskeletal Imaging. He maintains membership of the Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group, the Australian Society of Ultrasound and Medicine and the Australian & New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology.

David is a strong supporter of continuing professional education and is often asked to present at conferences and seminars. He is married with two children and enjoys being involved in many sporting and cultural activities.
