Bruce is a graduate of the University of Otago , New Zealand (1983) and completed his radiology training at Auckland Hospital Board and Waikato Hospital , Hamilton (1987-1992).

Bruce made the move to Australia to join South Coast Radiology in 1993, becoming a partner in 1994. He has also held VMO positions at the Gold Coast and Tweed District Hospitals .

Bruce's interest areas include all aspects of radiology, including MRI and echocardiography.

A sports enthusiast, Bruce enjoys a range of outdoor activities including mountain biking and running and he has completed the Gold Coast Marathon several times. Bruce also enjoys all types of motorsports.
