Angus is a graduate of the University of Queensland Medical School and completed his residency at the Gold Coast Hospital. He trained in Radiology at Royal Brisbane Hospital, and completed his specialty training in 2003, having undertaken Fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging. In 2004 he joined South Coast Radiology, and became a Partner in 2006. He is currently Marketing Partner for the practice.
Angus has sub specialty interests in Musculoskeletal Imaging using MRI, CT and Ultrasound, and also Interventional Radiology encompassing Vascular Interventional Procedures,, placement of central venous catheters for haemodialysis and oncology patients, diagnostic and interventional angiography and general intervention including spinal and musculoskeletal procedures and biopsies.
Angus has been a presenter at the Australasian College of Radiology National Scientific Convention (2001) and has been published in Australasian Radiology (2002). He has been actively involved in medical education on the Gold Coast, including a position as Senior Lecturer at Griffith University Physiotherapy Department (2005-2007), and has spoken at local medical association meetings including the Gold Coast Division of General Practice.
Having an interest in a variety of sports, Angus is a keen surfer and skier and an avid rugby union and league fan, and plays occasional touch football.
